Voting information
Your vote matters and your support would be much appreciated.
Polling Day is Wednesday 15 October 2008 when polling stations will be open from 8a.m. until 8p.m. Information about how and where to vote can be found at www.vote.je.
Postal or Pre-Poll voting
If you know that you will be out of the Island or otherwise committed on Polling Day or unable to get to a polling station for health reasons then you can apply for a Postal Vote or apply to be a Pre-Poll Elector. You can find more information at the above website or by contacting the Judicial Greffe at Royal Court House, the Royal Square. Telephone number: 441300.
16 and old enough to vote
For the first time in Jersey people aged 16 and 17 will be able to vote. I would encourage young people who are 16 plus to get involved with the election process and to have their say by using their vote.
Polling Day
If you are unwell on Polling Day you can have your vote recorded at home by a returning officer. Please let me know if this applies to you or if you would like a lift to your polling station, by telephoning 766078.
